Tonight I am savoring quiet time.
I know and love many who are sad and in pain. Because I have experienced sorrow and pain – and still do 🙂 – I pray for you with more understanding.
I know the deep heartbreak of total rejection and betrayal from someone I loved – thus I can pray for you who are experiencing this with more compassion.
I know and love different ones who are in physical or mental prisons tonight – because, I too, have lived where my life and mind were restricted: perhaps without walls but imprisoned by circumstances. Tonight I pray with and for you with more depth. for I know loneliness and isolation.
When you go through some of these things, do not fall into the despair of thinking God doesn’t care.
Instead, be conscious of what Paul wrote in the 1st chapter of his second letter to the Corinthians.
2 Cor 1:3-4
“3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement),
4 Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God. ” AMP
No tear in your life is wasted. You will learn and, therefore, be able to comfort and encourage others.
I love you
